Johnny is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. He has been living in the Springs for the past three years and loving it.
A well-known adage among the family law bar is that our clients are good people going through their worst days. Johnny’s approach to litigation is to understand that everybody needs helps, especially on their worst days, and that everyone needs compassion. He believes that a good attorney minimizes conflict when possible and zealously advocates for the client when necessary.
Johnny attended college at Yale University, earning a B.A. in History. While at Yale, he participated in the Yale Political Union, winning the campus wide Freshmen’s Prize debate in 2003. He was also on the Varsity Fencing Team, where he was a four time Letter-Man, NCAA finalist, and Squad Captain. Johnny earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2011. There he was a member of the Law Review.
Johnny began his law career in corporate real estate before becoming a government attorney working for the County Child Support Service, and then finally moving to private domestic litigation.
When not working, Johnny spends time with his wife and children, and occasionally still fences throughout the region.
