Lindsay is proud and honored to be a military veteran. She retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2019 after 20 years of distinguished service. Lindsay began as a Personnel Officer and was later selected for a law school program, after which she served the last 14 years of her military career in the JAG Corps. She has extensive litigation experience, to include having served as an Appellate Military Judge. Now permanently located in Colorado Springs, she is excited to use her skills and experience to serve those in our community.
Shortly after she retired from the Air Force, Lindsay joined Brighter Day℠ Law. She is dedicated to helping clients through difficult times by providing client-focused legal representation and advocacy in a professional and compassionate way.
Lindsay attended Roberts Wesleyan College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, cum laude, in 1998. Her honors there included, among others, being named in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
She earned her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2006. While in law school, Lindsay served as president of the local chapter of Phi Delta Phi, participated in the Rothgerber Moot Court competition, and earned the William O. DeSouchet Award for best individual performance in Trial Advocacy.
Lindsay was admitted to the Colorado State Bar in 2006 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court.
