Sydney grew up just outside of Detroit, MI, and is a proud Michigan State Spartan. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science while playing ice hockey at Michigan State University, and then moved to Bloomington, IN where she obtained a law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Shortly after, she moved out to Colorado Springs and served as a Deputy District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District of Colorado. Sydney prosecuted and tried a wide range of criminal cases ranging from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to all levels of felonies involving domestic violence, vehicular assault, animal cruelty, drug crimes, property crimes, and crimes of violence.
Sydney is excited to join the Brighter Day team and eager to utilize her passion and litigation skills to help families who are going through difficult transitions in their lives.
