Legal Assistant
Jessica Swindler is a dedicated Legal Assistant at Brighter Day Law, where she supports the firm’s attorneys and paralegals in providing compassionate, detail-oriented service to families navigating difficult transitions. Her role includes assisting with case preparation, managing disclosures, drafting legal documents, and maintaining clear communication with clients. Jessica’s organizational skills and empathetic nature help ensure that clients feel supported throughout the legal process.
Jessica’s journey into family law is deeply personal. As a single mother, she understands the profound impact that custody, divorce, and child support matters have on parents and children. This perspective fuels her commitment to family law and her belief that every client deserves an advocate who not only manages the details of their case but also genuinely cares about their well-being. Her motivation is rooted in a desire to provide clarity, stability, and guidance to families facing some of life’s most challenging moments.
Currently, Jessica is completing her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and will immediately continue to pursue her bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. She is a Colorado Notary Public and certified in Lexis+ research, further enhancing her ability to support the firm’s clients and attorneys. Jessica’s long-term goal is to become a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) in Colorado, which will allow her to take on a greater role in directly assisting clients with their family law needs.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two sons, cheering on her teenager at local racing events, and keeping up with her preschooler’s love of farm animals and bull riding. She also enjoys creative projects, community involvement, and exploring the Colorado outdoors with her family.
Jessica chose to join Brighter Day Law because of the firm’s strong vision and compassionate approach to family law. She values being part of a team that shares her dedication to helping families through difficult times and looks forward to growing her career within the firm.
